This is the Gruffalo...

Zaki dictated the following story to his babysitter Cassidy last week, and asked her to write it down for us. We are, in turn, sharing it with you. I present it without exegesis, leaving all interpretation to the reader:

This is the Gruffalo (pause)...

The Gruffalo flew out of the kingdom and across the village. There was a ding! and all the lights went out. The keeper of the castle said, "Dont' worry! It's just Trunk-o the elephant." There was also a pirate ship spraying water at the witch ... "Arrrgh Matey!". There was a sprayer on the boat that went up and sprayed water in the dark hole. The water went in, and the firemen came. There was a fire at the castle! The witch got hurt. She was a bad witch. She was a mean witch, and her name was Beep-Beep-Boop. She got away and flew across the valley to another castle. Then there was some trolls and they said, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!".
